Sandy Shaller arrived at the Riverdale Country School, NY, in 1977 as a seasoned English teacher with a master's degree in education from Columbia University and his wife, Rickie. Eight years later, Mr. Shaller settled into place as the Head of the Riverdale Country School/Lower School. During his twenty-six years of leadership, Mr. Shaller taught “Through The Looking-Glass” to each fourth grade class until his retirement in 2011.
